In Mondsee gibt es eine Bürgermeister-Stichwahl

MONDSEE. Bürgermeister Karl Feurhuber hat um 2 Wahlstimmen die 50 % Marke in der Bürgermeisterwahl versäumt. Er muss nun in der Stichwahl gegen Jürgen Prasse (PULMO) antreten.
„Ich sitzt hier und ärgere mich wegen dieser zwei Stimmen“, so Feurhuber (49,91 %) im Gespräch mit den Vöcklabrucker Tips. Der - noch amtierende - Bürgermeister musste gegen vier weitere Kandidaten antreten. „Mir ist schon beim Auszählen aufgefallen, dass sehr viele Wähler vergessen haben, den - neben der Gemeinderatswahl - zweiten Stimmzettel auszufüllen“, so Feurhuber. In der Stichwahl gegen Jürgen Prasse (17,96 %) erwartet sich Feurhuber aber ein klares Ergebnis zu seinen Gunsten.
Auch im Gemeinderat in Mondsee hat die ÖVP ihre absolute Mehrheit verloren (40,97 %). Die ÖVP musste 5 Mandate abgeben, die SPÖ 3 Mandate, während die FPÖ ihre 4 Mandate halten konnte. Die zwei neuen Parteien - Grüne und PULMO - ziehen mit jeweils 4 Mandaten in den Gemeinderat an. „Die FPÖ konnte offensichtlich mit dem Landestrend mitschwimmen“, glaubt Feurhuber.
Jürgen Prasse hat hingegen sein Wahlziel erreicht: Die Absolute der ÖVP im Gemeinderat zu verhindern und Feurhuber in eine Stichwahl zu bringen.
